Assignment 2 - Greeting Card

*Background*

1. This is the first background that i choose from internet.

2. Do an adjustment layer. Play with the curves of the colour and the adjustment.All of this step i do in the copy layer of the background. It is for safety if i make any mistakes.So the original file is still there.

3. I make the adjustment for the second time.And i put some effect at the top on the right for the front page. I put same Filter effect. Filter > Render > Lens Flare.

*Pictures*
1. This picture has been resize due to the format of this picture is in PDF.I cant upload it in blog.
I use this picture at the greetign section.
I drag it into the greeting card clipboard and have done some edit..i erase all the flowers at the bottom of the picture.And i do some colour retouch on the flower too. I change its colour.



2. I drag the picture into the backgrouNd clipboard.And i do some adjustment for the size of the flower too.


2. I use Tool Brush for the leaves effect. I make it fade by using eraser tool. The change the opacity and the flow of the eraser to 50%.

3. For the love and butterflies.I use a fonts that i've downloaded from internet.
I do some adjustment at the colour of the butterflies and love shape.

4. For the typing words. I use Layer Style to make it glow.
Layer > Layer Style > Blending options



5. Finally i put the bear picture in the front page. The bear i had done some filter on it to make it
have 2 tones. And for the borders in the greeting section. I make it by myself by using font.I retyping the same alphabet and re adjust it. And i make the borders as in a group layer.So when i drag it..it is still in the shape.

Dear sir and madam, this is a very rough draft that i make, i will add more bground,play with the colours.My main idea is a funky birthday card.But currently i dont have any idea.

Assignment 1- E-Wallpaper

Pictures that i used:

Process:

1. Colour the background with purple colour. And then i use filter > Render > Lens Flare
for the lighting effect.

2. And then i use tool brush for the tree effects

3. The white wave colour on the ground is from Font. And the butterfly in the center also
from Font.

4. Use type tool for MMU FOM OPEN DAY.
The font i use Layer Style to make it glow.
And the same technique i use to other wordings.

5. Finally i put pictures of FOM.The pictures i need to resize it and use some fade effects to it
I used eraser and reduce the capacity of it and make it fading and blur

Tutorial 5- Old Photo Retouching

1. Upload the original picture in Photoshop.


2. Use Spot Healing Brush to clean up all the crack
3. Use Healing brush to clean up the white color at the eyebrow


4. Use New Adjustment Layer to re-adjust the level of the colors
5. Use Filter to sharpen the picture.I use Smart Sharpen and re-adjust it manually



6. This is the final touch up.

Im using the Clone Stamp tool and Spot healing brush to remove the clouds at the back of the picture
